We are a Jesus centered ministry that uses handcrafted pizza to serve people, create second chances, and share the hope of Christ.
We believe food has a unique way of bringing people together. A hot meal creates opportunities for conversations that might never happen otherwise, breaks down barriers, and reminds people they are seen, valued, and loved. Pizza isn't the mission—it's the invitation. People are the mission.
Every pizza starts with dough we make from scratch and ingredients we're proud to serve because we believe God deserves our best, not the leftovers. Whether we're giving pizzas away during community outreach or selling them at community events to help fund the mission, the quality never changes.
WHY WE EXIST
Jesus consistently met people's physical needs while pointing them toward something greater. We want to do the same.
DOUGHJO USA exists to serve our neighbors with excellence, build meaningful relationships, create opportunities for second chances, and point people to the hope found in Jesus Christ. We believe serving someone with dignity can open the door to conversations that change lives.
Our goal has never been simply to hand someone a slice of pizza. Our goal is to show the love of Christ in practical ways, build lasting relationships, and leave people with the reminder that they are seen, valued, and loved.
WHAT WE DO
Today, DOUGHJO USA is a mobile ministry serving communities throughout Middle Tennessee.
We partner with local churches, nonprofits, businesses, and volunteers to bring handcrafted wood-fired pizza directly into neighborhoods, affordable housing communities, homeless outreaches, disaster response efforts, and community events.
Some events are completely free because generous supporters have already covered the cost of every pizza. Other events allow us to sell pizzas, creating sustainable revenue that helps fund future outreach and ministry.
Every event has the same purpose to bring people together, create opportunities for genuine relationships, encourage volunteers to serve alongside one another, and point people toward Jesus Christ.
OUR VISION
We're building far more than a mobile pizza operation.
Our vision is to create a sustainable ministry that equips churches to better serve their communities, creates meaningful second-chance employment opportunities for people rebuilding their lives, responds during disasters with fresh meals and practical support, and shares the hope of Christ with thousands of people each year.
Our next step is building a fully commercial mobile kitchen capable of serving hundreds of handcrafted pizzas each day. That increased capacity will allow us to expand community outreach, pizzas served per event, volunteer opportunities, and partner with more churches and nonprofits, with capabilities to respond effectively during disasters, and create additional employment opportunities for people seeking a fresh start.
We believe every pizza served is another opportunity to build relationships, strengthen communities, and point people to Jesus.
WHAT THIS LOOKS LIKE
* A family receiving a fresh, handcrafted meal and experiencing the love of Christ through genuine hospitality.
* Volunteers serving side by side, building relationships, and growing in their faith through practical ministry.
* Churches partnering together to meet tangible needs within their communities.
* Someone rebuilding their life finding meaningful work, mentorship, and encouragement through a second-chance employment opportunity.
* A mobile kitchen responding after a disaster with fresh meals, compassionate volunteers, and practical support when communities need it most.
REAL MOMENTS
After one outreach, one of our volunteers, Fran, shared something we'll never forget.
She told us she had never prayed for someone she didn't know before—until that day.
That moment wasn't simply about serving pizza. It was about someone taking a step of faith and obedience for the first time. It reminded us that God isn't only using DOUGHJO USA to serve people—He's also using it to grow the people who serve.
At another outreach with People Loving Nashville, a security guard walked over and said, "I'm not religious, but I hope this blesses y'all."
That simple comment was a reminder that acts of genuine love and service speak loudly. Even people who don't share our faith often recognize when something meaningful is happening. They may not have the language for it, but they can see people being loved well.
These are the moments that remind us why we do what we do.
